For every Focus Partners teammate
Focus Partners advisers volunteer with Advisers Give Back, offering pro bono financial planning to households who can’t easily get advice any other way.
Everyone at Focus can take part: give any amount, or, if you’re a CFP® professional, volunteer your time.
These Focus Partners advisers volunteer with Advisers Give Back, meeting with households by phone on their own time.
As of October 1, 2026. “Matched” means AGB connected the household with the adviser; a meeting held means the conversation took place. Households can meet more than once.
How their clients rate it
After meeting, clients answer the question the Net Promoter Score is built on: from 0 to 10, how likely are they to recommend Advisers Give Back to a friend or colleague? Of the 40 households these four advisers served who have answered so far, 30 chose 9 or 10.
The score is the share answering 9–10 (75%) minus the share answering 0–6 (10%). Anything above 50 is widely considered excellent. As of October 1, 2026.
From clients of your colleagues, shared with first names only.
“Christopher, I am delighted that we connected and the information and guidance you provided. I could not wrap my head around the future tax liabilities. You provided clarity and understanding of my concerns. Thank you for providing a peace of mind as I move forward in my retired years.”
“Thank you for your time and assistance. Finances have always been a huge source of stress for me. During our meeting, I felt heard and not rushed. I look forward to meeting with you again to check in.”
“I want to sincerely thank my financial advisor David for their thoughtful and practical guidance. He not only took the time to explain my options clearly but also set up a specific action plan tailored to my goals.”
“Thank you for helping me clarify how retirement works and what options I have and don't, and what I can do about it in the future to improve it.”
The advice is donated. Gifts pay for everything that gets a household to that conversation, and helps the advice stick.
01
Public libraries, nonprofits and other community organizations connect people who want help with their finances to Advisers Give Back.
02
Each household is matched with a CFP® professional who donates their time, like your Focus colleagues, and works with the same adviser each time.
03
Meetings happen by phone. The adviser helps the household understand where they stand and agree on a few clear next steps.
04
Carly, AGB’s coordinator, handles scheduling and reminders and follows up on next steps, so a plan turns into action.
AGB’s platform ties these steps together — intake, matching, scheduling and follow-up — so volunteers can spend their time on the advice itself.
Every gift goes to Advisers Give Back, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and is pooled with other donations to support this work. No gift is assigned to a particular household.
Any amount helps. Payment runs on Stripe’s secure checkout.
Amount
Used only to share totals by office and region with Focus Partners leadership. An office’s total appears only once it has three or more gifts, and names are never shared.
Gift received
Stripe has emailed your receipt. Advisers Give Back is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 84-4685390, so your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
1 Your office optional
At the end of the campaign, Focus leadership will see what each office made possible — the gifts its people give, and the ones their notes inspire. Totals by office only, shown from three gifts, and never anyone’s name.
2 Pass it on, if you’d like
Not everyone has the hours to volunteer. A note from you might be how a colleague finds out they can still be part of this.
Gifts made through your link count toward your office’s impact — never toward anyone’s name. Nothing here is posted anywhere; you choose who to send it to.
If you’re a CFP® professional, you can volunteer with Advisers Give Back on your own schedule. Households come to you already matched, and AGB handles the scheduling and follow-up.
Not a CFP® professional? Your gift is how you take part.
One more thing
Give once, or monthly. Any amount helps.
